Access and Privacy Travel Together

Explain why access decisions must be designed with privacy protections, not added after the fact.

The management move: design access so it does not quietly become monitoring. Library leaders often face requests that sound pro-service: send reminders, personalize recommendations, prove program impact, help another agency reach users.
