Use the POUR principles to distinguish different classes of accessibility problems.
POUR turns “accessibility” from a blur into four concrete kinds of failure. Perceivable Can the user detect the information at all? This includes text alternatives, contrast, captions, transcripts, structure, and making sure meaning is not hidden in color or sound alone. Operable Can the user act on the interface?
