One Accountable Owner Per Deadline

Use RACI to clarify who owns completion, review, consultation, and updates on a client deliverable.

Client work stalls when accountability is treated as a group feeling. RACI is a responsibility assignment matrix: Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed. In firm management, the distinction matters because accounting engagements are handoff-heavy. A staff member prepares. A senior clears. A manager reviews. A partner decides exceptions.
