Rewrite an administrative email using bottom line up front structure.
An approval email includes useful facts but hides the actual decision until the end. BLUF: put the bottom line, action, and time cue up front. Opening with chronology forces the executive to hunt for the decision and increases the chance of a vague reply. Before I checked the three catering vendors from last quarter and one of them is unavailable. There are also dietary requests from two board members.
