Protect the Executive From False Urgency
Use urgency and importance to triage requests before escalating them.
Urgency is a clock; importance is a consequence. The Eisenhower Matrix protects administrative judgment from the loudest request in the room. It separates urgency, which means time pressure, from importance, which means consequence for the business, executive, customer, compliance obligation, or team outcome. Admin work often looks equally urgent because every message arrives with social pressure. The matrix forces a second question: what breaks if this waits, and what breaks if this is ignored?
