Tool Names Are Controls

Write tool names and descriptions that make action, object, and risk visible.

The move: make the action obvious from the name. A model does not see your architecture diagram when it chooses a tool. A manager reading an audit log does not see your design meeting either. The tool name and description carry the first line of control. Verb Use the real action: read, search, draft, validate, create, update, send, delete. Avoid soft verbs like handle, manage, sync, process, or fix unless they are narrowed by the rest of the name.
