A weak Definition of Done makes the Sprint Review look better than the product really is. How It Works The Definition of Done creates a shared boundary between work in progress and Increment. That boundary matters because Scrum's inspection events rely on transparent artifacts. If the Increment includes partially verified work, decisions built on it are shaky. The Definition of Done should be practical and visible. It can include testing, documentation, security, analytics, accessibility, operability, or release controls.
