Sprint Goal Is Not a Title
Write a Sprint Goal that gives the team one inspectable outcome rather than a task list.
A task list tells people what to do; a Sprint Goal tells them what trade-offs to make. The Mechanism Scrum uses the Sprint Goal to create coherence. During Sprint Planning, the Product Owner proposes why the sprint is valuable, the whole Scrum Team collaborates on the goal, and Developers choose the plan. That sequence prevents the Product Owner from pre-loading the sprint with disconnected output and prevents Developers from optimizing only for ticket closure.
