Respond to pressure to add agents when dependency and review costs are the real constraint.
A project is late and a stakeholder wants to add more agents to make the output arrive faster. Add more agents immediately so the system has more parallel effort. Map the critical path, then add agents only to independent work that can converge cleanly. Remove all agents and return the work to humans. Ask agents to debate until they agree on one final answer. Map the dependency chain first. If the bottleneck is independent research or extraction, add agents.
