Write An ADR For A Model Provider Decision
Write a lightweight architecture decision record for an AI deployment choice.
The team chose a model provider for invoice extraction, but the rationale is scattered and will be hard to audit or revisit. ADR: capture context, decision, status, and consequences for architecturally significant choices. The common shortcut is to record only the winner. That loses the constraints and tradeoffs that made the decision reasonable. Context Write the forces: p95 latency under 2 seconds, Arabic invoice accuracy, regulated data handling, monthly cost ceiling, and fallback requirement. Context is value-neutral.
