Set Human-Agent Boundaries with RACI
Define responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed roles for a coding-agent task.
The boundary move: do not ask whether the agent owns the task. Ask which part of the task the agent owns. RACI is useful for coding agents because it separates four different relationships to work. Responsible means doing the work. Accountable means owning the outcome. Consulted means giving input before the decision is final. Informed means receiving the outcome after the decision. That split maps cleanly to agent supervision. The agent can be Responsible for drafting code, tests, release notes, or investigation notes.
