Write the Research Brief Before the Browse
Draft a deep-research brief that tells the model what to investigate, what sources count, and what the final report must help you decide.
Start with the job, not the browser. Deep research is designed for multi-step work: define the outcome, choose the sources, review the plan, then inspect a cited report. That is a research workflow, not just a longer prompt. If you skip the brief, the model has to guess what question matters, which evidence counts, and what shape the answer should take.
