Recall when enhanced due diligence is needed and what it should add.

Trigger When does standard CDD become EDD? When the customer's risk cannot be understood or mitigated with standard identity, purpose, ownership, and expected-activity evidence. The trigger should be specific: PEP exposure, ownership opacity, high-risk geography, unusual activity, complex products, or adverse media. Objection The customer already gave us all mandatory fields, so why ask for more? Use when a stakeholder treats mandatory fields as the whole standard.
