Anchor Consistency With a Reference, Not a Speech
Choose when to use reference images or image-based direction to stabilize character and scene continuity.
The reframe: continuity is easier when text creates change and references preserve sameness. Many teams try to brute-force consistency with longer descriptions. That usually makes prompts heavier without making identity more stable. Lock the invariant Choose the character, prop, or environment detail that cannot drift. Use a reference for that anchor whenever the tool supports it. Describe only the delta The prompt should focus on what changes in the new shot: angle, movement, light, emotion, and action.
