Do not stop at "communicate better." Find the process that made poor communication likely. The teach Five Whys starts with a clear problem statement and asks why until the team reaches a cause it can change. In CSI, the problem statement should be specific: "Customer expected same-day pickup after approving added work, but vehicle stayed overnight." That is better than "bad communication."
