Turn a Nature-Positive Claim Into Metrics
Convert an unsupported biodiversity claim into a metric structure that can support disclosure and management.
A product team wants to publish a nature-positive claim without baseline, scope, or performance evidence. Claim -> scope -> baseline -> action -> performance. The common trap is to use a global biodiversity ambition as if it proves a product-level outcome. That creates greenwashing risk and weak internal management. Scope Define the boundary: product line, commodity, supplier regions, sites, time period, and exclusions. Scope prevents readers from assuming the claim applies to more than the evidence covers.
