Board Pack Red Flags
Recognize common board-pack defects and choose the right repair.
Red flag: the first page names a topic but not a decision. Repair: write 'Decision requested...' or 'Input requested...' in the first five lines. Directors need to know which role they are playing before they read the evidence. We cannot simplify this; the board asked for all the detail. A team wants to keep 30 pages in the main pack.
