Build a Composite Index From a Query

Derive a composite index from a query access pattern.

Query: WHERE seller_id = ? AND category_id = ? AND status = "active" AND created_at >= ? ORDER BY created_at DESC LIMIT 40. Composite index order follows equality filters, then range/order, then optional coverage. The common trap is adding one index per column. That may look comprehensive, but it rarely gives the planner one ordered path through the exact result set. Name equality filters seller_id, category_id, and status are equality predicates.
