Build a Retrieval Check That Corrects the Model
Create retrieval feedback that explains the right answer and repairs plausible wrong thinking.
A quiz checks label recall but does not change the learner decision. Retrieval works best when the learner reconstructs the work move and receives feedback on the mental model. The common trap is writing easy recognition items because they are fast to author and easy to pass.
