Recall the control questions that stop process changes from drifting.
What is the Control phase protecting? The improved process performance after launch. It catches drift before the old process reappears. Objection We trained everyone, so we do not need another control. Your line Training tells people the new process. A control tells us whether the process is still working. Confusing awareness with sustained performance. It separates knowledge from operating evidence. Lagging vs leading control Use leading controls where possible because they prevent rework. The minimum control plan names what five things? Measure, threshold, owner, response, cadence. If any one is missing, drift can hide.
