Distinguish Scope 1, 2, and 3 well enough to place emissions sources before discussing reduction levers.
Scopes are a management map, not a trivia test. Teams often jump from “we should do something on carbon” straight to projects such as solar panels, travel policy, or recycling. That feels productive, but it hides a deeper problem: nobody has agreed where the emissions actually sit.
