Catalog the Decision, Not the Table
Explain why a useful catalog entry starts from a business decision and records the minimum metadata needed for confident reuse.
The reframe: catalog pages are decision aids, not storage receipts. A scanned table can tell someone that an asset exists. It cannot tell them whether to use it for a pricing model, an audit extract, or an executive dashboard. The catalog manager's job is to close that gap with enough context to make reuse safe.
