Choose evidence before decoration
Select visual evidence that proves the slide claim instead of merely decorating it.
Decoration creates mood; evidence creates belief. The Teach When a slide feels weak, people often add visual polish: icons, large photos, gradients, or extra shapes. Polish can help after the argument is clear, but it cannot substitute for evidence. A risk icon does not prove risk. A customer photo does not prove adoption.
