Climb Down the Ladder
Distinguish observed data, selected data, interpretation, assumption, conclusion, and action in a workplace judgment.
The move: treat confident interpretations as testable, not final. The Ladder of Inference is useful because it explains why reasonable people disagree about the same meeting, customer call, or metric. They are often standing on different rungs. One person is talking about observable facts. Another is talking about meaning. A third is already talking about action. Observation What could a camera or log capture? Keep this plain.
