Clusters Over Clues
Use clusters of cues instead of isolated signs when reading body language.
Do not read a clue. Read a pattern. The Teach A cluster is a group of nonverbal signals that converge: face, hands, torso, feet, voice, and timing. The more channels move together, the more useful the observation becomes. Why It Works Human behavior is noisy. People fidget, look away, smile politely, and self-soothe for ordinary reasons. A cluster reduces false confidence by requiring convergence. Timing reduces bias by asking whether the pattern changed when the topic changed.
