Explain how first-article approval controls a CNC process before production quantity starts.
The reframe: first-article approval is a process gate, not a single-part celebration. The question is not only did this part pass? The better question is does this setup have enough evidence to repeat the result safely? Control the sources, then measure the output CNC quality starts upstream: correct program revision, verified work offset, correct tool numbers, clamping repeatability, material match, coolant condition, and inspection method.
