Commit to a Prior Auth PDSA
Commit to a small PDSA action for a prior authorization workflow problem.
Run a two-day prior authorization readiness PDSA for one radiology modality. MRI or CT cases scheduled within 48 to 72 hours where authorization status often changes the patient arrival plan. When I review the pending-auth list at [time], I will mark each case green/yellow/red, route yellow cases to [clinical owner], route red cases to [payer/escalation owner], and record how many patient-arrival surprises were prevented. Check whether the test happened and what it found in two days.
