The listener asks, Are we blocked? Use BLUF first: answer blocked or not blocked, then give reason, impact, and ask. Decision pressure is high, so do not begin with chronology. A teammate says, This ignores my work. Use active listening first: reflect the concern before explaining your view. Empathy pressure is high; confirmation creates room for the point.
