Handle a Shipping Delay Without Creating Deception

Apply the Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule to a delayed shipment scenario.

The site promises "ships in 48 hours," but 3,400 orders are now delayed about three weeks. Reasonable basis -> delay notice -> consumer choice -> refund/control fix The common trap is treating fulfillment delay as only a service problem.
