Desired State Is the Contract
Explain why declarative desired state is the safest operating contract for Kubernetes workloads.
A reconciler can only protect the state the team has clearly declared. The contract Declarative object management means the team describes the target state in configuration and lets Kubernetes controllers converge the cluster toward it. The Deployment spec says what should exist. The Deployment controller keeps checking whether reality matches. This is the operating model behind self-healing Pods, replica replacement, and controlled rollouts. Why it works The value is not YAML for its own sake.
