Use exploratory checks to test whether a dashboard pattern is real enough to claim.
Visible pattern -> testable hypothesis -> careful claim. Check the frame Confirm the population, time window, data refresh, and metric definition. Many dashboard surprises are frame surprises: the chart changed because the inclusion rule changed. Inspect variation Look at the range before the latest point.
