Accountability means being able to show your work. Privacy programs fail when the organisation can describe values but cannot surface evidence. What evidence looks like Good evidence is specific, dated, and attributable. It usually includes an owner, a version, and some sign of review or execution. Examples: a current processor list, a completed DPIA, a retention rule with last-review date, or a subject-rights log.
