Select the higher-impact method for different verbal pressure patterns.
A client asks for one more change after you've explained scope. They respond: 'Everyone else did it for free.' What should you do first? Use fogging: 'I understand everyone else got help, and I can’t waive fees for this account.' Use broken-record: 'I can’t change the scope without a contract amendment.' repeat the line once if pressured. Use DESC but skip consequences to avoid sounding harsh.
