Hook You will almost never get the missing number that makes everyone feel safe. The question is whether the missing number would change the move. Teach Incomplete information is not a reason to wait by default. It is a reason to identify which uncertainty matters. Start by naming the decision you must make, not the topic you are researching. Then split unknowns into three buckets. Decision-changing unknowns could flip the choice: legal risk, customer demand, budget limit, technical feasibility, or reversal cost.
