Delegate When the Path Is Unknown
Delegate an uncertain outcome using learning milestones instead of false certainty.
Unknown path does not mean vague delegation. Define the learning outcome State what decision the work must make possible. For example: choose the primary trial bottleneck, decide whether to invest in security docs, or determine whether onboarding capacity is the constraint. Set learning milestones Use milestones like hypothesis map, first evidence review, contradiction check, and recommendation. These are not task approvals.
