Late Deliverable: Take It Back Or Coach?
Respond to a slipping delegated task without automatically taking it back.
The second option is stronger unless the risk is truly unrecoverable. The trade-off is immediate control versus long-term capacity. Taking work back can save a deadline, but repeated rescue teaches dependence. Coaching a recovery plan protects the deliverable while building the owner's task-relevant maturity.
