Use DESC before it becomes a complaint thread
Deliver a complete DESC statement in one interaction without escalating conflict.
DESC in 60 seconds Describe: start with observable behavior only (time, place, action). Express: state your feeling and impact using first-person language. Specify: ask for one concrete behavior or timeline. Consequence: explain what changes when it is or is not addressed, in team-oriented terms. This sequence lowers defensiveness because it avoids global labels and gives the other person a clear behavioral target to agree to.
