Design Source Assets for Adaptation
Break a source asset into reusable meaning units before repurposing it.
A reusable asset is not a long asset cut into pieces. It is a source whose pieces still carry meaning when moved. Unit Find the smallest complete idea: a claim plus enough context to make it true. A raw sentence may be catchy but unusable if the audience cannot tell who said it, what it proves, or what action follows. Metadata Attach the missing context. Note the audience, funnel stage, evidence type, owner, date, permissions, and source link. Metadata prevents later reuse from becoming guesswork.
