Pressure Is Not a Plan
Identify schedule pressure as a human-factors hazard and convert it into an explicit operational constraint.
Pressure becomes safer when it is named rather than obeyed. Name the pressure Schedule, crew legality, passenger disruption, bay availability, and downstream maintenance routing are real constraints. Saying them out loud prevents them from hiding inside technical judgment. Protect the standard The inspection, signoff, checklist, or communication requirement does not shrink because the clock is loud. Give a checkpoint A checkpoint keeps the operation moving without demanding premature certainty: 'I can update you after panel close,' 'I can call at leak-check complete,' or 'We need maintenance control before a release decision.'
