Recall What must the employee receive before the hearing? The allegation or performance issue, investigation evidence, hearing details, possible outcomes, and information about the right to be accompanied. Preparation is part of fairness; surprise turns a response opportunity into an ambush. Phrase check Which opening keeps the decision open? Use allegation language until the outcome is decided.
