Build A 5S Opening Standard

Apply 5S to create a visible, repeatable dry-cleaning counter-opening routine.

The counter opens with missing claim tags, inconsistent supply locations, and route bags blocking a walkway. 5S: sort what is needed, set it in order, shine and inspect, standardize the ready state, and sustain it with a short check. The common trap is treating 5S as a one-time cleanup. Without labels, ownership, and a daily check, the counter drifts back by the next rush.
