Use a quick disagreement script that reflects pressure, states a standard, and asks for evidence.
Someone pushes for a decision you think is risky, and you want to preserve the relationship without lowering the standard. Reflects the other person's real pressure before challenging the conclusion. States your decision standard in behavior-based language. Turns disagreement into a search for evidence or guardrails. Saying I understand while your tone says you do not.
