A colleague says in a leadership meeting, Your plan does not account for field reality. You feel exposed and want to defend your competence. Use trigger, pause, reframe, respond. The pause stops the status reflex; the reframe translates the threat into a work signal. Defending the whole plan immediately makes the room evaluate your composure instead of the missing constraint.
