Turn "Good Job" Into Useful Praise
Convert generic praise into specific recognition that teaches the repeatable behavior.
Rewrite: "Good job on the escalation." Useful praise names the repeatable move, not just the positive feeling. Step 1 Anchor the moment "In the escalation call..." The receiver knows exactly which behavior you noticed. Step 2 Name the behavior "You summarized the customer's concern before explaining our constraint." This turns praise into a technique.
