Make Focus Socially Legible
Set a focus boundary that includes availability, escalation, and response timing.
Focus boundaries work better when they are visible, specific, and paired with a path for real urgency. Name the mode Tell people whether you are in deep work, admin, meetings, or available collaboration. The mode explains the response pattern. Name the return A return time lowers social anxiety. People can wait when they know when waiting ends. Name escalation If everything can interrupt, nothing is protected. If nothing can interrupt, trust suffers. Define the narrow exception.
