Use Situation-Behavior-Impact to make praise specific, fair, and reusable.
The teach Praise is stronger when it describes the work, not the vibe. SBI is not only for hard conversations. It is a clean way to make recognition credible and portable. Start with Situation so the moment is bounded. “In Tuesday’s roadmap review” is better than “lately” because it tells the person exactly which decision point you noticed. Then name Behavior using something observable.
