Design the Cue Before the Habit
Create a specific cue that reliably starts a target workplace habit.
The reframe: do not start with discipline; start with the moment that calls the habit into action. The Cue A cue is the trigger that tells your brain which routine belongs here. In a workday, good cues are concrete: a calendar event ending, a tab opening, a document being saved, a badge scan, a coffee cup touching the desk.
