From Strawman to Steelman
Convert a strawman rebuttal into a steelmanned concern, assessment question, and reframe.
The objection is, "This automation will make the process less human." The presenter is tempted to say people always fear automation. Strawman -> value protected -> steelman -> condition question -> response The trap is psychologizing the other person: "They are afraid of automation." That attacks motive and misses the value being protected. Spot the strawman Weak version: "They think any automation is bad." This weakens the objection and makes your answer less trustworthy.
