Map the Words to the Concern
Apply a step-by-step method for translating surface pushback into a protected concern and response.
A stakeholder says, "This plan ignores regional reality." The presenter feels accused and wants to prove regional input was included. Exact words -> protected concern -> strongest version -> assessment question -> matched response The common trap is defending intent: "We did include regional input." That may be factual, but it does not assess which regional constraint feels ignored. Listen Capture the exact words: "ignores regional reality."
