Separate Warmth From Evidence

Distinguish interpersonal warmth from job-related interview evidence.

Rapport can make evidence feel stronger than it is. Split the feeling from the proof. Capture the raw behavior Use concrete notes: what the candidate did, said, decided, measured, or changed. Raw behavior is easier for a panel to inspect and challenge. Translate only when job-related An interpretation is allowed when it maps to a competency. Polished is too vague. Explained tradeoffs clearly to nontechnical executives is closer to the job.
